Job Summary:

Clarence High School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of HR functions within the school. The HR Head will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting faculty and staff, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and school policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Advise school leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
  1. Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Maintain a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures professionally.
  • Organize training, workshops, and staff development programs.
  1. HR Policy & Compliance
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies in compliance with state and national regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to labour laws, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  1. Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Oversee salary processing, leave management, and employee benefits.
  • Coordinate with finance for timely payroll disbursement.
  1. Performance Management
  • Implement and monitor a performance appraisal system for all staff.
  • Support departments in setting goals, evaluations, and career development plans.
  1. HR Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring timelines, etc.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in an educational institution is highly desirable.
