CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 53Special Education DepartmentThe Clarence Special Education Department completed 20 years of dedicated service in 2024%u201325, promoting inclusion, academic growth, life skills, social development, and holistic learning for students with special needs.Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) were developed for each student using customised worksheets, Canva, and digital platforms such as Khan Academy. The Inclusion Programme expanded from June 2024, integrating 14 students into mainstream classes across Classes 1, 3, 4, and 7. Students attended core subjects, appeared for Term 2 and Term 3 exams, accessed Google Classroom resources, and explored Robotics and AI, strengthening academic learning and social integration.Academic and Inclusion ProgrammesDaily physical activities, such as aerobics, were conducted after morning assembly. Recreational play included regular basketball sessions and time in the upgraded ball pit, which became a favourite among students.Physical Education and Well-BeingInterns from Kristu Jayanti College, Mount Carmel College, and Middlesex University supported classroom activities.
