Teacher Job Description

We are on the hunt for a self-motivated and experienced Teacher to join our qualified team of educators. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development.

You should be a competent professional with in-depth knowledge of teaching best practices and educational processes. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Develop and issue educational content in accordance with the Montessori principles.
  • Arrange the physical environment in accordance with the Montessori principles. Ensuring that the developmental succession of the materials is maintained at the start of each day.
  • Ensuring your classroom is clean and orderly.
  • Ensuring that each Montessori material is cleaned and maintained in an orderly manner.
  • Organize supplies and resources for presentations.
  • Taking care of Montessori materials and ensuring they are handled appropriately.
  • Ensuring that all the supplies needed to operate the class is available through the working hours of the classroom.
  • Observe classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
  • Observe all the children individually and attend to their strengths and areas of improvements in a timely manner.
  • Deliver personalized instruction to each student in accordance with the Montessori principles.
  • Preparing lesson plans for individual children on a weekly basis.
  • Maintaining the progression sheets for each child on a weekly basis.
  • Plan and implement educational activities and events within the class and in the outdoor space.
  • Organising Motor Skills developing games in the outdoor space.
  • Preparing children and space for events like sports day, talent day etc.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
  • Attending parent-teacher meetings and information given to parents based on the Montessori principles and in accordance with child-development.
  • Evaluate and document students’ progress.
  • Allocate and assess homework for final year students.
  • Supervising the class help to ensure that the class is maintained in the right manner and also that their mannerisms with children are positive.
