Job Summary:

Teach physical and human Geography to strengthen students' spatial thinking, environmental awareness, and data interpretation skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver concept-rich lessons using maps, case studies, and visual/field-based learning
  • Build skills in interpretation of graphs, atlases, climate data, and GIS basics (where applicable)
  • Prepare students for assessments through structured practice and feedback
  • Encourage inquiry, sustainability-thinking, and real-world application of concepts

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • M.A. in Geography (preferred)/ B.A. in Geography + B.Ed. (Mandatory)
  • 4-7 years relevant teaching experience
  • Strong subject command, assessment design ability, and activity-based instruction approach
  • Comfort with map-work, data skills, and interdisciplinary connections
