                                    CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 229She bolted for the door, racing into the hallway, her breath coming in panicked bursts. The dim lights flickered as she reached the stairwell. She didn%u2019t dare take the elevator%u2014she wasn%u2019t about to get trapped with whatever this was. The whisper came again, closer this time. %u201cLaura%u2026%u201d She ran down the stairs, not daring to look back, her heart pounding in her chest. As she reached the lobby, the door ahead slammed shut, locking her inside. Her phone buzzed one final time. %u201cI%u2019m already inside.%u201dThe lobby lights flickered and died, plunging her into darkness. The air turned icy, and she felt it%u2014cold breath on the back of her neck. The whisper came one last time, right beside her ear, %u201cToo late.%u201dToo LateLaura had just settled into bed, enjoying the quiet of her small apartment, when her phone buzzed: Unknown Caller. It was late, so she ignored it. But when the phone buzzed again, curiosity got the better of her and she answered. Only silence. Then, soft, steady breathing. %u201cHello?%u201d she said, her voice uneasy. No reply. She hung up, brushing it off as a prank. But minutes later, the phone buzzed again. She hesitated before answering, a sense of dread creeping in. A whisper came through the line, barely audible. %u201cLaura%u2026%u201d Her heart skipped a beat. Someone knew her name. %u201cWho is this?%u201d she demanded, her voice shaking. The whisper returned, chilling her to the core. %u201cI%u2019m watching you.%u201dPanic surged through her. She checked the door it was locked. The windows were shut tight. She was alone. Or, at least she thought she was. Her phone buzzed again, vibrating with a force that seemed unnatural. She picked it up, her hands trembling. This time, the message was clear: %u201cLook in the mirror.%u201d Her stomach twisted. Slowly, she turned towards the mirror hanging by her door. At first, everything seemed normal%u2014just her reflection, wide-eyed and frightened. But then, she saw it. Behind her, a shadowy figure. Tall, dark and grinning. She gasped and spun around, but the room was empty. Her phone buzzed once more. %u201cYou can%u2019t run. I%u2019m inside.%u201d Terror gripped her.
