                                    CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 65Student Welfare Department%u201cInvesting in student well-being is investing in future success.%u201dThe Student Welfare Department places student well-being at the heart of school life, focusing on emotional, mental, and physical health throughout the academic year. Through counselling services, healthcare, career guidance, and parent engagement programmes, the department strives to create a safe, nurturing environment where every student can thrive.A wide range of counselling sessions were conducted to address students%u2019 developmental and emotional needs. Group sessions on personal hygiene, puberty education, and emotional wellbeing were organised, with sessions for boys facilitated by the Administrator, Cmde. Prem Reuben (Retd.) and sessions for girls conducted by the Student Counsellor, Mrs. Esther Charly. Individual counselling was provided for students from Classes 3 to 12, addressing academic stress, mental health concerns, relationships, and career aspirations, with follow-up support where required. Age-appropriate sessions on good touch and bad touch, personal hygiene and healthy eating were conducted for UKG and Classes 1 and 2.Parental involvement was strengthened through a Parent Seminar held on 7th December 2024, titled %u201cRaising Healthy, Happy Minds: Parenting for Emotional Well-Being.%u201d Led by Dr. Preethi Ninan, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Bangalore Baptist Hospital, the session offered practical strategies to support children%u2019s emotional development.Medical camp conducted by Sparsh Hospital
