CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 85Model United Nations (MUN)Fifteen students attended the Sophia Model United Nations (SMUN) held on 9th and 10th August 2024. Delegates represented different countries, engaged in meaningful debates, and collaborated on drafting resolutions addressing global challenges. Ishaan Jose Jacob of Class 11 Commerce was recognised for his exceptional diplomatic approach and received the Honourable Delegate Award.On 10th and 11th August 2024, the school participated in the St. Francis School Model United Nations Bangalore (SFSMUNB) 2024, where the delegation won the Best Delegation Award. Andrew Paul Sunny of Class 12 Science received the Best Delegate Award for representing the Russian Federation in the UNSC. Shaun Kester Vincent of Class 12 Science was awarded the Best Delegate Award for the role he played in the Crisis Coordination Committee. Siddhan Srihari of Class 9A earned the Commendable Delegate Award, while Aditi A.G. of Class 9A received a Special Mention for her role in the Lok Sabha.Fifteen students also attended the St. Joseph%u2019s Boys%u2019 High School MUN (SJBHSMUN) held on 24th and 25th October 2024, where Ishaan Jose Jacob and Philip Mathews received Commendable Delegate Awards.Additionally, eight students represented the school at Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) India (15th%u201318th August 2024). Andrew Paul Sunny and Philip Mathews received Diplomatic Commendations, while Jeremy John Joesam and Isaac Nitin William each earned an Honourable Mention.Clarence High School students actively participated in several prestigious Model United Nations (MUN) conferences during the academic year 2024%u201325, gaining valuable exposure to diplomacy, leadership, and global affairs.
