CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 79Kannada RajyotsavaClarence High School celebrated the 69th Kannada Rajyotsava with great cultural fervour, honouring the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka. The celebrations began on 1st November with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony led by Principal Mrs. Ruth Manoj, along with Kannada Department Head Mr. V. Patil and Physical Education teacher Mr. Robert. The ceremony set a patriotic tone with the state anthem.The main celebration and the Inter-House Kannada Public Speaking Competition were held on 4th November at the Flack Auditorium, which was decorated in yellow and red. The event welcomed Chief Guest Mr. Waseem Ahmed, Inspector of Police, Frazer Town Traffic Police Station. Students from the four houses%u2014Barton, Theobald, Redwood, and Wilcox%u2014showcased their talents through poem recitations and folk songs.The programme also featured a dramatic enactment of the bravery of Rani Chennamma of Kittur, a presentation on Karnataka%u2019s unification, a freedom-fighter parade, and vibrant traditional dances and ended with the State and National Anthem.
