CELEBRATING GOD%u2019S GOODNESS 203A Day at an OrphanageAday at the orphanage was a sad one for me, having to see the orphan children there. I tried to make them happy by bringing snacks for them, telling them stories and entertaining them. Later, I taught them to read, had fun playing games with them outside. These were enjoyable moments. Soon it was time for me to get back home. What I Like About My Club ClassIbelong to the Calligraphy Club. I like it because my favourite teacher, Mrs. Ellis, teaches us. I also love it because it teaches me about beautiful handwriting and different fonts. I have learnt Gothic and Modern Calligraphy. I have also learnt the origin of Calligraphy. I get to write on the board using different pen tips. My best friends Diya and Kyra are also a part of the club. I love the Calligraphy Club.Erica ThomasClass 4BEliana Tomu JacobClass 4BWhat I Like About My Club ClassToday I am going to tell you what I like about my clubclass, %u201cThe Scripture Union Class%u201d. In this club, I learn about God, the Holy Spirit and all the good things that I must do to be faithful. My club teacher, Ms. Mary Alexander, teaches us about God and tells us how we must be good children. In every class, Ms. Alexander conducts a scripture quiz and gives us scripture puzzles to solve. At the end of every class, she plays a Biblical story. My favourite story from the club class is David and Goliath. My club class is located in class 2D.Shiloh Samuella JacksonClass 4CA Day at an OrphanageLast Sunday, I visited an orphanage. Every child wore an old, ragged dress, and was carrying a small pencil, an eraser and a small book. None of the little children had a smile on their faces except for one little child who was standing at the end. Her dress was the most ragged one and her pencil and eraser were the smallest. Still, she was happy with all she had. At lunchtime, I observed that the cook served burnt soup, mashed potatoes with coriander and beans. I tasted some of the soup and it did not taste good at all.
