This would, in turn, address another large-scale issue %u2014 disease.The major causes of disease are unhygienic resources like food and water. Employing the use of AI and technology can help reduce the scale of epidemics. For instance, the cases of cholera and typhoid always increase during the monsoon season. Using the right water purifiers, engineered with reverse osmosis technology, can help reduce such outbreaks. Another important function technology can serve is providing immediate assistance in emergency cases. The number of deaths caused simply by a delay in receiving the right medication and professional medical assistance is extremely alarming.With the effective employment of technology, patients will not have to be solely dependent on doctors, who might be engaged in another operation. A well-engineered medical robot can cater to critical needs in the moment of crisis! Healthcare will become more affordable, efficient and life-saving than it is right now. But if technology does all the work the processing, the manufacturing, the saving; what might become of the doctor, you might ask? Will he not be unemployed? Will not every human on earth, for that matter, be unemployed? Not necessarily so. This leads me on to my next point %u2014 employment.Technology%u2014the word of the twenty-first century. The word that determines the course of our world today. The determinant of life or death, failure or victory, hope in despair. It is well-established that we need technology to survive the concrete jungles of today. While people still argue against the use of technology%u2014how it negatively impacts our youth, our health and world employment as a whole %u2014 there is no denying that our minds, if used creatively and judiciously, can leverage technology for our own good.It is a well-known fact that population follows a geometric progression while resources increase linearly, or, as is more evident, remain constant. Today, as the population increases in leaps and bounds, the issue of world hunger is very relevant, if not already a reality. The conventional working of factories and manual farming, sadly, does not answer this issue satisfactorily. The use of technology could solve half the issues here; AI-powered machinery would require no manual working; the processing of food would be a smarter, quicker and much cleaner process. The village farmer could use the efficient hydroponic systems, sow seeds using drones and water them with timed sprinklers. Think of the time saved and the problems solved!
