208 THE CLARENCIAN 2024-2025I poured the batter into the cake mould, sprinkled the chocolate chips over it and placed the cake mould into the pre-heated oven. After 20 minutes, the delicious cake was done. Its aroma filled the kitchen. I allowed the cake to cool and then called my parents to cut it. My father and mother were so happy when they saw the delicious chocolate chip cake. My parents and the rest of my family enjoyed the most delicious chocolate chip cake they had ever eaten.Rianna ZachariahClass 5CWhat Would It Be Like to Be a Teacher for a DayWell, if I was a teacher, it would be very difficult for me to keep the class quiet. I would love to teach English and Science. If I found the class noisy, I would become very strict with the students. If the class were quiet, I would not be strict. Making PPTs for the class to understand the lessons would be very difficult and tiring. I would enjoy the lunch breaks during which I would sit down with my other teacher friends and rest. Climbing the stairs throughout the day would make me very tired. I would wait to reach home after a tiring day at work. I would plonk myself on the bed, go to sleep and wake up at 6:30 a.m. the next day.Maria Nicole D%u2019cruzClass 5CWhat Would It Be Like to Be a Teacher for a DayImagining myself in the shoes of my teacher would be exciting as well as hectic. A teacher%u2019s life is like a rollercoaster. I would enjoy teaching my students and exploring their curiosity, sharing my memories as a student with them. The ups and downs of being a teacher would be challenging for me. However, I would love to make my students happy and this would satisfy me at the end of an exciting day. If my students were obedient in their behaviour and concentrated in my class, I would reward them with stickers and chocolates. If I were to find any of my students disobeying me in class, I would discipline them, ensuring that they won%u2019t repeat their mistake again. I would master the art of patience and not frustration.Rida Fatima BaigClass 5D
